GETTING STARTED & FIT
DeskOps is the AI business advisor for service businesses. It connects to your existing tools — Stripe, Square, QuickBooks, your ad accounts — and uses your real numbers to answer the questions you'd ask a CFO if you had one. What's revenue this month, am I behind on taxes, which customer hasn't paid, what should I focus on this week.
It's not field service software. It doesn't schedule jobs or dispatch trucks. It's the intelligence layer that sits on top of the tools you already use.
PRICING & BILLING
$99 a month. Or $84 a month if you pay annually ($1,008/year — save 15%). That's the whole product, not a stripped-down tier. The pricing page lists optional add-ons clearly: Foresight cash calendar ($9/mo), ad integrations ($9/mo), Advisor Email ($19/mo), additional businesses ($39/mo each), team seats ($9/mo each), extra storage (from $9/mo), voice 5-packs ($20 one-time). Nothing else is hidden, and the price you sign up at is the price you stay at.
EXISTING TOOLS & INTEGRATIONS
Because those tools schedule and dispatch your jobs. DeskOps explains what your business is actually doing. Jobber knows when your tech is on a call; it doesn't tell you that one customer is now 32% of your trailing-twelve revenue, or that your ad spend on Meta is outperforming Google two-to-one this month. Your AI advisor in DeskOps reads your numbers across every system you already use — Jobber, QuickBooks, your ad accounts — and tells you what to focus on this week.
If you only need one tool, DeskOps sits on top of what you've got. It's the layer your existing stack doesn't have.
THE AI ADVISOR & VOICE
It knows your trade AND your numbers. That's the difference.
ChatGPT can tell you what a 14a fee should run in HVAC generally. DeskOps tells you what your last twelve cost, which of your customers paid it, and what to charge based on your pricing sheet. The AI is trained on 76 trade-specific knowledge bases — pricing benchmarks, regulations, customer-objection patterns, equipment specifics, licensing requirements — and connected to your real revenue, customers, expenses, and tax position.
It also does things ChatGPT can't. Log an expense. Schedule a reminder. Draft and send a customer email. Generate a CPA-grade tax PDF. Remember what you talked about last week and what you care about. And you can call it on the phone from your truck.
ChatGPT is a chat. DeskOps is a business advisor.
TAXES & CPA WORKFLOW
By running the math every day on your real numbers. DeskOps generates a quarterly tax estimate from your actual revenue and expenses — federal brackets, state taxes, the QBI deduction, S-Corp owner carveouts, self-employment tax, the additional Medicare surtax. The same math your CPA runs.
Every quarter, you get an email with your estimate and a CPA-grade PDF attached. If you're significantly behind on what you should be setting aside, a tax-surprise alert flags it before it becomes a problem. The point is: no April 15 ambush.
DeskOps does not file your taxes. A CPA still files. We give you and your CPA cleaner numbers earlier.
SECURITY, DATA, PRIVACY
No. Never. DeskOps connects to your payment processors and bookkeeping tools through OAuth, and to your bank read-only through Plaid. We only ever read your data — we have no ability to move money. We never see your bank login, and we never store your full account or routing numbers. We can't issue refunds, send payments, or change anything in Stripe, Square, PayPal, or QuickBooks.
If we disappeared tomorrow, your money would still be exactly where it was this morning. We're a window into your numbers. We're not your processor.
BY INDUSTRY
Probably yes. DeskOps has industry-specific knowledge bases for 76 trades — each one researched in depth with pricing benchmarks, regulatory notes, customer-objection patterns, equipment specifics, and compliance reference material. Your dashboard, your AI, and your trade-specific tools all reshape around what your trade actually does.
If you don't see your trade listed, the general DeskOps platform still works — but the trade-specific intelligence is what makes it sharp. Pick the closest match or contact us about adding yours.
HVAC
DeskOps reads your Stripe or Square revenue and separates parts revenue from service revenue based on how you categorize jobs. The AI knows HVAC pricing benchmarks, common state licensing requirements, and the math behind a Manual J load calculation. Trade-specific tools include a nameplate diagnostic and a quick load calc. State licensing varies — DeskOps doesn't track your license itself, but the AI knows what your state typically requires.WHAT DESKOPS DOESN'T DO
There's no catch, but there are clear boundaries. DeskOps does not:
- File your taxes. We generate the PDF and the math. A CPA still files.
- Process payroll. We track payroll costs as expenses and handle team commission ledgers — but we don't cut checks, calculate FICA, or file payroll taxes. For that you need Gusto, ADP, or QuickBooks Payroll.
- Schedule jobs or dispatch trucks. That's Jobber, ServiceTitan, or Housecall Pro.
- Track inventory. Not a built feature.
- Track time per job or roll up labor costs by job. We track team hours for pay and commission calculations — but we don't tie hours to specific customer jobs the way Jobber or ServiceTitan do.
- Answer your customers' phone calls. Voice is for you calling your AI, not customers calling you.
- Replace your CPA, your bookkeeper, your attorney, or your insurance agent. We make their work easier; we don't replace their judgment.
- Store your bank credentials. Bank connections use Plaid-issued tokens only — never your bank login, and never your full account or routing numbers.
- Sell or train AI on your data. Yours, scoped to your business, full stop.
- Have a native iPhone or Android app yet. DeskOps runs in your browser and works great on phone — full functionality on mobile. A native app is on the roadmap.
If you need any of the things in that list, DeskOps is not the right tool for that piece. We're the intelligence layer that sits on top of the rest.
